PERSONALIZED WORKSHOPS
Joe Elbert has taught photography workshops throughout the world. Now he's creating new seminars for small groups and individuals.
Workshops are held in Washington, DC, and at Elbert's farm on Bug Run Road in Leon, WV, where a converted barn (pictured here) houses a guest apartment and production studio.
One and three-day workshops may be scheduled for either location and tailored to the student's area of interest. In addition to photography, workshops on editing, video, creating a portfolio and contest entry presentation are included.
The foundation for all workshops, from sports to fashion, is the fundamentals of story telling. The art of
story telling can be found everywhere from a Super Bowl commercial to a
classic film. Here's an exerpt from Elbert's storytelling seminar.
